About product choice

What is the difference between a launch monitor and a simulator?

A launch monitor measures your swing and ball data. You can use it on the driving range, in your backyard, or as part of a simulator setup. A simulator is a complete system: launch monitor, screen, enclosure, and mat. You play on virtual courses and see your ball fly on the screen. In short: a launch monitor measures, a simulator lets you play.

About space and installation

How much space do I need?

For a portable launch monitor, you need a minimum space of 3 by 4 meters, with a ceiling height of 3 meters. For a complete simulator, we recommend at least 4 meters wide, 5 meters deep, and 3 meters high. Please refer to our page on space requirements for the exact dimensions per product.

About software and jobs

Which software is included?

Every GolfJoy system is delivered with the GolfJoy software, including a three-month trial period. After that, you can choose from three subscriptions: Basic (€249 per year), ProTour (€495 per year), or Major (€695 per year). The number of courses and features varies per package.

It depends on the package you choose. Basic includes 30 courses in 2K resolution. ProTour offers more than 80 courses in 2K. Major provides access to over 160 courses in 4K resolution. All packages include a driving range, practice modes, and minigames. New courses are regularly added through updates.

De GDS Pro is compatible with multiple software platforms, including E6, GSPro, and Creative Golf. The other GolfJoy systems are optimized for GolfJoy software.

About daily use

How much noise does it make?

The sound of a golf simulator mainly comes from the ball hitting the impact screen. This is comparable to a firm hit on a cushion. In a garage or basement, this usually does not pose a problem. In an apartment, we recommend taking this into account in advance.

Yes. The GolfJoy software supports multiplayer, both locally and online. You can take turns on the same simulator or play against others over the network.

Absolutely. The minigames and user-friendly interface make it accessible for all ages. Golf is a sport you can enjoy together, and with a home simulator, children can discover the game in an approachable way.

GolfJoy systems are designed for daily use and require minimal maintenance. Keep the cameras clean, replace the hitting mat when it is worn, and install software updates. If you have any questions, you can always contact our support team.
