What's in the box
Do I need a PC to use the GDS Pro?
To work with GolfJoy Software, you need a Windows PC. For basic measurements on the driving range, you can use the free GolfJoy Pro app on your phone or tablet.
What is the difference with the Spica 3?
The Spica 3 has three cameras instead of two, a built-in touchscreen, Wi-Fi connectivity, a larger strike zone, and longer battery life. The GDS Pro is more compact, lighter, and more affordable.
Can I upgrade the GDS Pro to a simulator setup later?
Yes. The GDS Pro works together with the GolfJoy software. You can use it in combination with an impact screen and a projector. If you want more later, you can upgrade to an overhead launch monitor or a complete simulator.
Does the GDS Pro also work outdoors?
Yes. The GDS Pro is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The operating temperature range is between -10 and 40 °C. The smart sensors automatically adjust the settings.
Is software included with the GDS Pro?
When you purchase, you receive 3 months of Golfoy software for free. After that, you choose the subscription that suits you: Basic, ProTour, or Major. The free Golfoy Pro app is always available.
How much space do I need for indoor use?
You need a minimum shooting distance of 2 meters to the screen or just enough, and a ceiling height of 2.75 to 3.10 meters.
